There was a spy group…
It was called Spyforce

OK, so it's not the Brady Bunch. It's the Max Remy main characters, the good and the bad!

Descriptions of other characters found in the Max Remy series can be found here.

Max Remy

Max Remy is the heroine of the Max Remy series. She is eleven (she turns 12 in the 4th book), lives with her PR mum who prefers spending time with the boring and famous rather than her and misses her film-maker dad who lives in California with his young actress wife.

Convinced she has a harder life than anyone she knows, she creates a fictitious world of Superspies with Alex Crane as the most elite spy of all from the secret intelligence agency called, Spyforce. Max’s world changes forever when she discovers that Spyforce and Alex are very real and she is going to be a part of it.

Linden

After meeting 11 year old Linden at his home in the country, Max instantly dislikes him for his seemingly country-bumpkin like ways. He is relaxed, funny and a natural at almost anything he tries.

As Max gets to know him (and he rescues her from a cow pat smelling swamp), he soon becomes her best friend, (even though he tells way too many jokes), and it’s not long after this, that both are inducted into Spyforce as their youngest secret agents.

Mr Blue

Mr. Blue is Spyforce’s archenemy.

Having been kicked out of the Force years ago for treasonous activities, he has made it his lifelong ambition to bring down the Force and make himself very rich and powerful in the process.

When Max and Linden continue to thwart his evil plans, the fight becomes personal and he is determined to witness their final moments as Superspies.

Ben

Ben and Eleanor are Max’s uncle and aunt who live on the farm next to Linden and his dad. When Max spends her holidays with them, she thinks she may keel over with boredom until she discovers they are world famous scientists working on a secret project: a Time and Space Machine. Later in the series she also discovers something else very exciting about them….but I can’t tell you that now in case I spoil it.

Eleanor

Ben and Eleanor are Max’s uncle and aunt who live on the farm next to Linden and his dad. When Max spends her holidays with them, she thinks she may keel over with boredom until she discovers they are world famous scientists working on a secret project: a Time and Space Machine. Later in the series she also discovers something else very exciting about them….but I can’t tell you that now in case I spoil it.

Max's Mum

Max and her mum have a very prickly relationship as Max’s mum spends most of her time running after TV celebrities as head of publicity at a major television network.

She is all style, stylists and stars and Max can’t stand any of it.

Max's Dad

A film director who lives in California with his new actress wife, Mee Lin. Max adores her dad but hasn’t seen him in years. Every time he plans to visit, he gets another film job and has to cancel.

By Max’s fourth mission in Hollywood, all that is about to change.

Alex Crane

Alex Crane is the Force’s top spy with a cold and aloof disposition. Max is in awe of Alex and wants her desperately to like her, but manages to make a fool of herself every time they meet.

By Max’s third mission in the Nightmare Vortex, she does manage a clumsy rescue of her hero, which changes Alex’s opinion of Max forever.

Toby Jennings

Toby Jennings is Max’s rival in school who seems to make it his life aim to humiliate her. He is clever, smart and annoyingly good looking.

Linden is convinced he picks on Max because he likes her and it isn’t until Toby follows them on a mission to California that he not only proves himself to be a good spy but that Linden might be right after all.
